T.E.L.L.S LASER TRAINING
The tactical engagement laser simulation system (T.E.L.S.S) system is a set of modular live simulation tools designed for "Force on Force" tactical training. It enables units to engage in realistic and safe combat simulations in open environments. This system immerses trainees in realistic scenarios, enhancing their combat awareness and proving their experience in various situations. The simulations provide feedback on the effectiveness of the tactics and techniques used, helping trainees improve and succeed in real-life situations.
HOW IT WORKS TELSS uses coded infrared lasers to emulate the trajectory of the shot, when the weapon is fired a beam of invisible laser will be fired against the target which is a real person or unit that is equipped with a special- ized kind of suit or devic which will pick this beam and trans- late it into hit.
According to the caliber and area of the hit, small computer fitted on the back of the unit will assess the hit and deter- mine the likelihood of death or injury / Damage.
